Authoritarianism..?

"(Yvette Cooper) defended the banning of Palestine Action, which she said was based on 'strong security advice following serious attacks the group has committed' as well as 'plans and ideas for further attacks, the details of which cannot yet be publicly reported due to ongoing legal proceedings'."
Well, based on evidence so far, it looks like authoritarianism and smells like authoritarianism. And considering the number of times the security services have gotten things wrong over the years, I'm somewhat doubtful there's any information that can't be reported at a high level, where it would actually effect legal proceedings. Investigations in progress, maybe. But legal proceedings...? It just sounds like excuses for extreme government overreach. Let's see when these details are published... assuming they ever are.
